About R&D
CMG Pharmaceuticals develops innovative medicines to address unmet medical needs.
Guided by the founding philosophy that “the mission of a pharmaceutical company lies in developing superior
therapeutics through relentless research and development,” CMG Pharmaceuticals has been dedicated to the development of
prescription drugs for the past half-century.
The R&D Division was established in 2001 to proactively respond to changes in the pharmaceutical industry and
to transform the company into a globally competitive player in new drug development.
Since then, through full-scale research activities, the company has developed and produced specialty pharmaceuticals
across various therapeutic areas, including the cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, endocrine, and infectious
disease systems. After 20years of research, we successfully exported targeted anticancer drug technology, demonstrating our global R&D
capabilities
In particular, in April 2025, the division obtained U.S. FDA approval for an improved version of the aripiprazole oral
film product, establishing itself as an internationally competitive research institute in the global market.
